The Portland Sea Dogs are a Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. They play in the Eastern League, and their home games are played at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine.
The Sea Dogs was established in 1994 and have been the Double-A affiliate of the Red Sox since 2003. In that time, they won the Eastern League Championship twice, in 2006 and 2007.
